Every evening in Port d'Andratx ends the same way: a walk along the harbour front, past the fishing boats and the yachts, and a cone from Capri on Avinguda Almirante Riera Alemany. It has been that way since 1979. The family makes everything in the obrador on Plaça Nova and carries it down.
Honest numbers: 4.3 from 220 reviews, which in Google terms is a local place, not a famous one. The reviews that count say the same three words: mango, pistachio, coconut. Lactose and gluten free options exist and are not an afterthought.
There used to be a second opinion further along the front. It closed, so the argument is over: Capri, every evening, and if you go north one day, Gelat Sóller on the square in Sóller does orange ice cream from their own trees.
